Felt totally at ease with Mr Arzoglou, he explained the procedure fully, making sure that I understood all aspects of my condition & operation. He didn't rush me, giving me time to process all the information, although I decided at the time not to go ahead with the operation, he told me that with a new Pathway in place, that if my condition worsened, I could self refer myself back to his care within a year, which was very reassuring.

Saw Mr Arzoglou at the Spire in Hull with my wife and by far the most patient friendly consultant I have ever met. His bedside manner is excellent and he treated me like I was a person not just another patient. After examining me and looking at my scans he explained in detail what he thought my problems were and how he would treat me and what the possible outcome could be. He made no false promises and gave me the facts of the upside and downsides of surgery and we left at last knowing where we stood in regards to my lumbar spine problem

I had scoliosis of the lumber spine with pinched nerve causing severe pain through my right hip,groin and knee. I had had all usual treatments over a long period of time that had no lasting effects. I saw mr Arzoglou at Castle hill clinic and he told me he could perform a lateral inter body fusion on my lumber spine which would ease my pain. He explained all the risks clearly to me and the benefits of a successful operation. I had the surgery at Hull royal infirmary in June’21 and I was instantly free of the severe trapped nerve pain I’d suffered for several years! Mr Arzoglou explained beforehand what he hoped to achieve and the procedure he would use,I had no doubts or fears of his abilities and had every confidence in him. I am now able to stand tall ,not bent forward in pain as I’d been for so long and I cannot thank mr Arzoglou enough for helping me to get my life back! He’s a brilliant surgeon!

What a lovely man! From the beginning of my appointment he put me at ease and made me feel comfortable.. he listened fully to what I had to say and he responded clearly and explained everything I needed to know.. I highly recommend Mr Arzoglou for any consultations in the future
